Christmas Parade

The second Saturday of December each year at 10 a.m., more than 3,000 spectators turn out for the Kershaw County Christmas Parade which boasts horses, fire trucks, floats, beauty queens, classic cars, dancing, music, Santa, and much, much more!
The parade begins at Laurens Street and proceeds South on Broad Street ending at the Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site.
Each year a new theme is chosen for the parade either by the Kershaw County Chamber of Commerce, or through a competition involving classrooms within the Kershaw County School District. The class, whose theme is chosen, will serve as the grand marshals for the parade. Prizes are awarded for first, second, third, best church and judge's choice to the parade participants who demonstrate the most creative way to incorporate the current year's theme.
Bring your friends and family to enjoy this wonderful community celebration. For more information, please contact Elizabeth Cox at (803) 432-2525.
